HARRISBURG -- More than 100 new jobs are coming to Central Pennsylvania. Today, Gov. Tom Corbett joined Comcast officials to officially open the new Comcast Support Center here in Susquehanna township.

“This is truly an investment in the people of Pennsylvania," Corbett said.
Corbett said he's happy to see the facility up and running and what it means for the people of Harrisburg and to the Commonwealth as a whole.

“I see a very, very bright future for not only for Comcast but for Pennsylvania as you continue to grow Pennsylvania is also going to continue to grow with all the benefits that we have,” Corbett said.

After receiving positive feedback from the governor, we went on a personal tour of the 110,000-square-foot facility from Jim Samamaha, regional senior VP of Comcast. He said this will be a great opportunity for anyone looking for work.

“I think the opportunity for the people in this area are great mostly in terms of long rewarding careers at Comcast, we've hired 500 people in this center already, lots of supervisor and manager positions and a good career path,” Samamaha said.
