FRACKVILLE -- The former police chief who created an internet buzz with YouTube videos of him firing automatic weapons and swearing now says he's getting into reality television. He already signed the agreement.

The videos that went viral. Hundreds of thousands have watched on YouTube as former Borough of Gilberton Police Chief Mark Kessler fired automatic weapons and cursed up a storm. Last week, Kessler and Gilberton reached a settlement that paid Kessler $30,000 and allowed him to retire.

And now, Kessler has a reality TV deal.  Last week, Kessler signed an agreement with a production campany called Relativity TV. The agreement does not pay him, but if the show is picked up for air, he will make money.

On Jan 1, Kessler started a group called "3% Boots on the Ground" or "3% BOG." The show will follow him and his group as they train and recruit to make sure America stays free and our rights are preserved.

There's no word yet on when filming will begin. But Kessler says it will be filmed in the Gilberton/Frackville area. Former police chief gets reality TV deal
