Lower Paxton Township Police are investigating an armed robbery that happened early Saturday morning.

Police say someone walked into the Sunoco A-Plus on Mountain Road wearing a dusk mask and sunglasses around 3:00 a.m.  He struggled with the clerk, who tried to keep the door to the cash register room closed.  He opened the door, took the cash from the register and fled.

He had his right hand in his pocket like he may have had a gun, but none was displayed.  He fled out the front door and toward Allentown Boulevard.  No vehicle was seen, say police.

He was wearing a light colored zip-up sweatshirt with the hood over his head.

The clerk suffered minor injuries while trying to keep the door closed.

Police believe this may be related to other robberies in the Harrisburg area, particularly one at the Hess Express on Allentown Blvd on August 15th.  Police say that robbery was very similar.  There have also been other robberies on the east and west shores.
