Man found guilty of sexual assault in Home Depot parking lot

Updated: Friday, October 18 2013, 03:38 PM CDT
On Thursday, a Dauphin County jury found a man guilty on all charges related to a sexual assault that happened in 2012.

Officials say Johnny Foster, 57, approached a victim in a parking lot of a Home Depot store in Swatara Township. Foster deliberately touched the victim's privates twice, while she was on the phone with her nine-year-old daughter.

Officials say the victim instinctively grabbed his wrists when he reached out for her and the two struggled while she asked him to stop. Foster asked the victim if he could at least have a hug and she agreed in an attempt to appease him. Foster pulled her in and kissed her on the lips. Officials say Foster then walked away and said "I can't help what happens next time you wear a skirt."

Foster is currently in prison, awaiting his sentencing scheduled for January 6, 2014.

Officials say Foster has an extensive criminal history including drugs, burglary, and assault.  He was on parole when he committed this offense.

Foster is facing additional invasion of privacy charges in Dauphin County for taking pictures of a 15-year-old girl while she was sleeping.  He has also been charged in Franklin County for the January 1995 murder of Freddie Brumfield Jr, near Chambersburg.Man found guilty of sexual assault in Home Depot parking lot
