Middletown man arrested on Megan's Law violations

MIDDLETOWN -- A Middletown man was held for trial on charges that he violated sections of Megan’s Law after a preliminary hearing Jan. 15.

Louis J. Miller, 43, last address of 3 Caravan Court, was arrested in November by detectives from the Criminal Investigation Section of the Middletown Borough Police Department for allegedly violating Pennsylvania’s Megan’s Law.

Miller was charged with one count of failure to comply with registration of sexual offender requirements for allegedly failing to register a change of address with the Pennsylvania State Police as required as a sexual offender defined under Megan’s Law.

Miller was being held in Dauphin County Prison on the charges, and also on a detainer from Dauphin County Adult Probation. He was returned to prison after the hearing.

The case will be prosecuted in the Dauphin County Court of Common Pleas by District Attorney Ed Marsico’s office. Miller faces a mandatory prison sentence if convicted on the charge.Middletown man arrested on Megan's Law violations
