HARRISBURG -- A state employee says for almost two years she was sexually harassed and assaulted by her supervisor at an office of the Pennsylvania Revenue Department. Today, that supervisor -- Albert Forlizzi, 58, -- was arrested and charged with several offenses, including indecent assault.

This reportedly happened at the Harrisburg District Office for the Department of Revenue at 1825 Stanley Drive.

From November 2011 and September 2013, a woman says her supervisor, Forlizzi, touched, groped, assaulted, and intimidated her.

Court documents say the assaults started in an office store room where, "Forlizzi did grab her buttocks without permission."

The documents say the employee was also called into Forlizzi's office when he was sure nobody was around and he would "grope her breasts," and the woman tells police on other occasions he exposed himself to her while in the office or worse.

During that time period, Forlizzi reportedly intimidated her with his power -- reportedly saying, "Remember, I'm the one who saved your job, you owe me," the court documents say.

In September of this year, the woman went to Capitol Police who officially pressed charges today.

“The individual did turn himself in to capitol police since we were primary investigative unit and then taken Dauphin county booking center,” said Troy Thompson, a spokesperson for the Department of General Services.

The Revenue Department reports the same month that she reported the crime, Forlizzi’s employment ended with the state. A spokesperson says they are not permitted to disclose why a person “separates” their state employment.

“If you are breaking the law, we investigate. Capitol Police take every complaint very seriously,” Thompson said.

Other charges include indecent exposure, stalking, and official oppression.

CBS 21 does not identify people who are believed to be sexual assault victims.
