LOWER PAXTON -- Lower Paxton Township Police arrested three people -- one from Harrisburg and two from New York -- for numerous charges involving counterfeit credit cards.

Around 4:30 a.m. today, officers responded to Sheetz, 4001 Union Deposit Road, for a report of people using fraudulent credit cards to buy gift cards.

Officers located the vehicle, a silver Chrysler Town and Country van, at the McDonalds on Briarsdale Road.

The occupants were detained while it was verified that the credit cards used were counterfeit. DaWanna Robinson, 29, of James Street, Harrisburg; Kenneth NaQuan Reape Jr., 31, of Lincoln Avenue, Schenectady, NY; and Jamie T. Evans, 37, of Chester Street, Brooklyn, NY, were then arrested.

All three have been charged with multiple counts of access device fraud and theft of property lost, mislaid or delivered by mistake. Police seized 27 counterfeit Visa and MasterCard credit/debit cards and merchandise and gift cards purchased with those cards.

Police believe that these cards have been used numerous times between here and New York. Susquehanna Township Police assisted on these incidents and arrests.

All three are awaiting arraignment at the Dauphin County Judicial Center.

Anyone with information is urged to contact the Lower Paxton Township Police Department at 657-5656.
