Fire crews are currently on scene of a two-alarm fire in York City.

The fire started around 6 p.m. in the 500 block of Pershing Avenue.  The fire extended to at least three homes, and quickly went to two-alarms just after crews arrived.

At first, reports indicated that someone may have been trapped in the home, but later reports indicate that no one was inside the homes.

More information will be provided as soon as it becomes available.

Our photographer on scene reports that the fire is now out.  However, there are also concerns about the safety of being inside the structures.  For that reason, firefighters have been evacuated.
