UPDATE: Carlisle Police investigate robbery at Subway

UPDATE: Friday, Jan. 17:

Jerrel Thompson was taken into custody near B Street, in Carlisle, without incident. He was taken to Cumberland County Prison.

UPDATE: Police have taken Star Shopp into custody in connection with the robbery of a Subway in Carlisle earlier today.

They are still looking for Jerrel Thompson.

Carlisle Police are searching for two suspects, wanted in connection with a robber at a Subway store.

The robbery happened around 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday at the store on West High Street. When officers arrived, employees told them a male and a female entered the store and demanded money. Police say the employee complied and the suspects fled with an undetermined amount of cash.

The suspects fled from the store in a 1997 GMC safari van and was last seen driving north in the first block of North Pitt Street. The male suspect is described as a white male, 6'0"-6'2" tall, a thin build, wearing a black leather jacket and dark blue jeans. Witnesses say he was in his late 20's. The female suspect is described as a white female around 5'3"-5'4" tall and was wearing a white hoodie and black jacket.

Police say no weapon was displayed during the robbery.
