UPDATE: Suspect sought in Manheim Township shooting

UPDATE: Police have released the name of the man sought in a shooting in Manheim Township.

29-year-old Joshua Rojas has been charged with Aggravated Assault, Recklessly Endangering Another Person, and Criminal Conspiracy. A warrant now exists for his arrest and his whereabouts are unknown. It is believed that he is driving a dark gray 2006 Toyota Scion, Pennsylvania Registration JHR9074.

At 7:20am March 8, 2014, officers were dispatched to the 1000 block of Grofftown Road, Manheim Township, for a report of a shooting.

Arriving officers found a 27 year old male bleeding from a gunshot wound to the abdomen. The victim was taken by ambulance to Lancaster General Hospital where he was treated for a non-life threatening wound.

Investigators determined that Rojas had driven to the victim’s residence and caused a disturbance outside. The victim went outside to confront the Rojas, who he knew, at which time the suspect pointed a handgun at the victim and fired. Rojas then drove away.

MANHEIM TOWNSHIP -- County dispatch tells CBS 21 that Manheim Township police are investigating a report of a shooting on the 1000 block of Grofftown Road in Manheim Township, Lancaster County.

According to Manheim Township police, one man was taken to an area hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.

According to police, the shooting occurred around 7:20 this morning.
