UPDATE: Two dead, including gunman after two county rampage

Saturday at around 11:00am, a 25-year-old female went to the State Police in Newport to report she had been sexually assaulted in Duncannon. The woman was allegedly assaulted by Donald Tolbert, 23, from Duncannon. 

Police then issued a be on the look out for Tolbert. While he was on the run, police believe he shot and killed 56-year-old Jennifer Zerbe-Hecker,  in the 500 block of Dellville Road,Wheatfield Township. Police say Zerbe-Hecker was killed while she was stopped at a stop sign. 

Tolbert then allegedly stole a red Ford Focus from a home on Jefferson Street in Duncannon. Tolber then allegedly committed a burglary of a home in Howe Township where he stole multiple firearms. 

As units were responding to this burglary,  he committed a robbery of a convenience store in Dauphin Boro.  Tolbert and his vehicle were then spotted by law enforcement in Susquehanna Township where a pursuit ensued. 

The pursuit ended and Tolbert is deceased.  The incident is still under investigation and we are working with the Dauphin County District Attorney's office in regards to this investigation. 

No other details at this time. 

The Dauphin County coroner has arrived at the location of a police-involved shooting on the 3700 block of North 2nd Street in Susquehanna Township.

Neighbors said they heard 6 shots.

According to police on scene, Dauphin County District Attorney Ed Marsico is investigating this shooting.

Dauphin County District Attorneys Office recently made the following statement about this investigation:

"The Criminal Investigation Division of the District Attorney's Office in conjunction with the Pennsylvania State Police, is investigating the death of a white male on Second Street in Susquehanna Township.

Units from Susquehanna Twp., PSP, and Harrisburg PD were involved in pursuit of a vehicle this afternoon. The car was stolen and the driver was believed to have been involved in criminal activity earlier today. The car was cornered and shots were fired, including shots from police.

Witnesses are currently being interviewed.

The entire incident is under investigation including whether the deceased's fatal wounds were self-inflicted.

The District Attorney's Office reviews the use of deadly force by police officers to determine whether such force was justified. The name of the deceased is not being released pending notification of next of kin."UPDATE: Two dead, including gunman after two county rampage
