The Kreitz Creek in York County flooded so quickly, it led to emergency evacuations. One homeowner says she didn't even have time to grab her cell phone.  "There was a knock, and it was - you gotta go and you gotta go now," says Stacey Sloat.

Sloat lives in Prince Mobile Park and had to evacuate with her two children on Friday morning. "The fire crews had to save my kids from the front porch," she says.

The water receded after a few hours, but the neighborhood is still evacuated since power has been cut off.

Elsewhere in York County, at least 13 roads were shut down throughout the day.  The Broad Street bridge in Hellam Township was shut down after just re-opening from construction several days ago.

"It's just crazy to see," said Dakota Kline. He was out checking the flood damage with his family.   He said he remembers flooding two years ago, but nothing as severe as this.

The 83 overpass on Market Street is always a flooding sore spot. By noon, at least one vehicle was stuck in water there.York Co. residents rescued from homes during flooding
